MATERNITY CENTER

The Maternity center of Maternity Care VDA is located in the Catharina Hospital Eindhoven, located in Ward 6 West.

The maternity center provides a comfortable and safe environment for the new mother, the partner and their newborn baby. The maternity center is an excellent choice for parents who want extra care and support after childbirth in a professional but homely setting.

Facilities and Comfort

• The maternity center has four rooms. During the summer period, this can be expanded to eight rooms.
• Professional maternity care is available from 8 am to 8 pm.
• The maternity nurse helps with feeding, care, and answering questions about the baby (and related things), among other things.
• Each room has a private bathroom, to ensure that parents can experience complete privacy and comfort.
• A changing table, cot, bath, changing pad and hot water bottles are provided in each room. For the first day, nappies, wipes and maternity pads are provided, for the remaining days we ask parents to bring these from home.
• The room has two electric beds for both parents, providing extra comfort and rest.
• For the new mother, meal service is included so that she can fully focus on her recovery and caring for her baby.
• Parents can receive visitors throughout the day up to 9 pm.
• Maternity care and Reimbursement
• Maternity care is available 12 hours a day to guide parents through the first days of parenthood.
• The cost of the stay is covered by the health insurance, except for any possible co-payment for maternity care.
• Initial diapers and maternity pads are available, but guests are generally expected to provide these themselves.
