VDA Maternity Care does not organise any classes but we can warmly recommend the classes below:
The ZWANGER en MAMA [Pregnant and Mummy] prenatal classes are designed for all pregnant women and prepares them, in small groups, thoroughly for the birth, the first period with their new baby and recovery after the birth. The classes are designed so that you can choose from four “separate” parts or follow the whole course. The teachers are therapists with plenty of experience in teaching such classes and supervising women. The costs might be covered by your health insurance, depending on which company you are with.
If you want to enrol or if you would like to know more, please visit www.praktijk-ank.nl

For 10x training and all the information you need, you pay 190 euros. You can check with your health care insurance whether you will be reimbursed. Mama & Fit is the way to start exercising again after your pregnancy. In six lessons you will be assisted by a physiotherapist to get your body back in balance and to make the right start to return to your own sport or to try something new. After your pregnancy it is important not to immediately expect your body to continue exercising at your old level. Your diastasis (separation of the abdominal muscles) will be mapped and possibly treated (appointments are planned for this separately), the stability around the pelvis and lower back will be trained and we will start improving your condition.
