VDA Maternity Care does not organise any classes but we can warmly recommend the classes below:
The ZWANGER en MAMA [Pregnant and Mummy] prenatal classes are designed for all pregnant women and prepares them, in small groups, thoroughly for the birth, the first period with their new baby and recovery after the birth. The classes are designed so that you can choose from four “separate” parts or follow the whole course. The teachers are therapists with plenty of experience in teaching such classes and supervising women. The costs might be covered by your health insurance, depending on which company you are with.

Landelijke Vereniging Samen Bevallen (the national association for birthing together). Are you looking for prenatal classes that suit you both best? The prenatal programme Samen Bevallen offers you the chance to prepare you both for the birth of your child together. Viamama offers prenatal and postnatal courses. Midwives, lactation consultants, mamacoaches, sportstrainers and yoga teachers are working in this center to give you and your partner

PREGNANCY AND MATERNITY COACH
When you are out of balance due to pregnancy, childbirth or parenthood, coaching can be a way to help you find it again. Especially when you experience these life-changing events in a foreign country, not having your family around, it can be confusing and complicated. Coaching can help you to experience less stress, find more balance and tranquillity so you can enjoy pregnancy and parenting more. Coaching can be your individual pregnancy course. Mental support after the immediate postpartum period
Becoming a mother is one of the most drastic events of your life.
It’s not at all unusual to feel unbalanced after the birth. Kraamzorg VDA offers the option of (free) help and support for up to 9 nine months after the birth.

Both the individual coaching sessions and the group meetings are held at Kraamzorg VDA, Hurksestraat 42-20 in Eindhoven.

Lesson 2: Fitness + feeding a child, both breastfeeding and bottle feeding

Lesson 7: Fitness + info from midwife: midwifery tasks, when to call for treatment and handling of pain

Lesson 10: Fitness + attention to sports and training of the pelvic floor after delivery
When to participate?
The best period to start the course is from 20 weeks, the last moment to start is from 27 weeks. If you want to continue exercising after the class, you can do so for 9 euros per lesson, the time can then change to 8.30 pm to 9.30 pm.
For 10x training and all the information you need, you pay 190 euros. You can check with your health care insurance whether you will be reimbursed. Through a physical therapy intake (which is reimbursed if you have supplementary insurance for physical therapy, otherwise the costs are 35 euros), an assessment will be made as to whether the course can be started and a program will be made.

Mama & Fit is the way to start exercising again after your pregnancy. In six lessons you will be assisted by a physiotherapist to get your body back in balance and to make the right start to return to your own sport or to try something new. After your pregnancy it is important not to immediately expect your body to continue exercising at your old level. Your diastasis (separation of the abdominal muscles) will be mapped and possibly treated (appointments are planned for this separately), the stability around the pelvis and lower back will be trained and we will start improving your condition.
